The following Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the offer and sale (together with the documents referred to below, including the Terms and Conditions of Use, Returns Policy and Privacy Policy) of products on our website ("GREENTEAJAPAN.COM"). Please read these terms and conditions carefully before ordering any products. By ordering any of our products, you agree to our terms and conditions. The products purchased on GREENTEAJAPAN.COM are directly sold by J-PORT.

7. Our Business Policy
7.1 J-PORT has adopted a business policy: its mission is selling products through its website to "consumer" only.
7.2 "Consumer" shall mean any individual who is acting for purposes, which are outside his or her trade, business, or profession.

7.4 J-PORT reserves the right to not process orders received from all parties that do not comply with J-PORT's business policy.
7.5 These Terms and Conditions of Sale (together with the documents referred to herein) regulate the offer, transmission and acceptance of purchase orders relating to products on GREENTEAJAPAN.COM between the users of GREENTEAJAPAN.COM and J-PORT.
7.6 The Terms and Conditions of Sale do not regulate the supply of services, or the sale of products performed by third parties that are on GREENTEAJAPAN.COM through links, banners or other hypertext links. Before sending orders and purchasing products and services from those third parties, J-PORT recommends that you verify the third party's terms and conditions, since J-PORT shall under no circumstances be deemed liable for the supply of services provided by third parties or for the execution of e-commerce transactions between the users of GREENTEAJAPAN.COM and third parties.
8. How to Execute a Contract with J-PORT
8.1 To place an order request for the purchase of one or more products on GREENTEAJAPAN.COM, you must fill out the online order form and send it to J-PORT, following the relevant instructions.
8.2 The order request form contains information on the main characteristics of each product ordered and corresponding unit price (including all applicable fees and taxes), the type of payment that you may use in order to purchase each product, shipping terms for the purchased products, shipping and delivery costs.
8.3 An order is considered submitted once J-PORT receives your payment.
8.4 Alternatively, any order can be collected and paid for at our office. In case this is the option of choice, please ensure you have made an appointment with us, as we may not be always present in our office. To make an appointment please send an e-mail to webshop@greenteajapan.com.
8.5 Before submitting your order form for the purchase of products, you will be asked to carefully read the Terms and Conditions.
8.6 The order request form will be filed in our database for the time required to process your order and as provided by law. You may access your order request form by logging in and visiting the section called Orders, in the My Account area.
8.7 Before submitting the order request form, you will be asked to identify and correct possible input errors.
8.8 English is the language used for executing contracts with J-PORT.
8.9 After your order request form has been submitted, J-PORT will process your order request.
8.9 If the products ordered are not in stock, the customer is given a full refund.
J-PORT may not process purchases when order requests are incomplete or incorrect, or the products are no longer available. In the above cases, J-PORT shall inform you by e-mail that the contract has not been executed and that J-PORT has not carried out your purchase order specifying the reasons thereof. If the products displayed on GREENTEAJAPAN.COM are no longer available once J-PORT has received your order form, J-PORT shall inform you of the unavailability of the ordered products within seven (7) calendar days from the day after J-PORT has received your order. If the order form has been sent and the price has been paid for items that are no longer available, J-PORT will refund the amount paid for those items within seven (7) calendar days.
8.10 By submitting an order request form to and making a contract with J-PORT, you unconditionally accept and undertake to observe the provisions of these Terms and Conditions of Sale. Should you not agree with certain provisions of these Terms and Conditions of Sale, please do not request your order form for the purchase of products on GREENTEAJAPAN.COM.
8.11 Upon submission of an order form request, J-PORT shall send you a purchase order receipt by e-mail.
9. Guarantees and Product Price
9.1 On GREENTEAJAPAN.COM, J-PORT offers top quality products that are checked and approved by GREENTEAJAPAN.COM.
9.2 The main characteristics of products are shown on GREENTEAJAPAN.COM on each product page. J-PORT has made every effort to display the colors of our products that appear on the GREENTEAJAPAN Online Store as accurately as possible. However, as computer monitors vary, J-PORT cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any color will be completely accurate. All items are quality controlled and checked for any faults before they are dispatched to customers. Should you receive an item that is of insufficient condition please contact J-PORT immediately by e-mail at webshop@greenteajapan.com.
9.3 Prices are subject to change and will be as quoted on our site from time to time, except in cases of obvious error. Check the final price of sale before sending the relevant order form.
9.4 J-PORT will only accept orders that should be shipped to the same address as where the order is coming from. Should you wish to send a present to someone, please contact us.
10. Payments
10.1 Payment of the product prices and relevant costs for shipping and delivery must be made by using one of the procedures indicated on the order form.
10.2 In case of payment by Credit/Debit Card, our payment system ensures secure transactions since Shopify has credit card data security in compliance with PCI guidelines. This security is state-of-the-art. Such financial information will not be used by J-PORT except for performing the procedure relevant to your purchase or issuing refunds in the case of returns in compliance with the exercise of your return right or for reporting cases of fraud to the police. The price for the purchase of products and the corresponding costs for shipping and delivery, as indicated in the order form, will be charged to your current account only when the purchased products are shipped. The security of online transactions is guaranteed by state-of-the-art technology.
11. Shipping and Delivery of the Products
Free shipping for orders over 75 euros to the countries: Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Italy, Slovakia, Spain, Monaco, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Sweden, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Romania, Switzerland.
All orders are shipped after receipt of payment. Orders will only be delivered to the address you have stated when placing your order. J-PORT cannot be held responsible for any inaccurate addresses provided to us or for giving your authorization for goods to be left in a safe place with our courier.
Providing the correct delivery address and picking up the shipment on time is the full responsibility of the consumer. J-PORT does not hold itself liable for any incorrect deliveries due to incorrect delivery address information or disposal of packages outside the European Union due to untimely collection of shipments.
Shipment within EU countries is free of import duties. For other countries import duties are applicable as required, and payable by the receiver of the order.
In very rare circumstances we may not be able to fulfil your order. Should we experience any problems with the availability of your order, we will let you know as soon as possible.
Whilst we will use all reasonable endeavors to meet the timescales of your delivery we may sometimes experience delays because of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control and we, therefore, cannot accept any liability for any delays or non-delivery.
We will not deliver to forwarding addresses or Post Office boxes due to the risk of fraud.

13. Consumer Rights and the Cooling-Off Period
13.1. Return Policy
Our objective is to guarantee your full satisfaction. If, for any reason whatsoever, you are not satisfied with your order, you may exercise your right to return purchased products within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date after which you received them from GREENTEAJAPAN.COM. Returned items must be shipped back to J-PORT within seven (7) calendar days from the date you cancel the contract. Please send an email to webshop(at)greenteajapan.com with the header “Return Authorization Request”, and mention in the message your name, address, telephone number and order number, and stating the reason for returning the product(s), in order for J-PORT to provide you with a Return Authorization Number. It is not possible to return an item in exchange for another.
13.2 Terms and Conditions of Return
The right to return products shall be deemed correctly exercised once the following conditions have been fully met:
You have canceled the contract by sending an email with a Return Authorization Request to J-PORT within fourteen (14) calendar days after the date of your receipt thereof;
The products should not have been used, worn, washed, modified or damaged;
The products are returned in their original undamaged packaging;
Food products are returned in their original packaging unopened with vacuum on it;
The returned items must be shipped back to J-PORT within seven (7) calendar days from the date you cancel the contract.
J-PORT has inspected and accepted the returned item(s).
If you have fulfilled all requirements set forth above, J-PORT shall refund the full price for the purchased products. You will be notified if the returned products cannot be accepted. In this case, you may choose to have the products delivered to you at no expense to J-PORT. If you refuse the above delivery, J-PORT reserves the right to retain the products and the amount paid for your purchase of the products.
13.3 Exclusion of reimbursement
Opening food products immediately reduces the value by 100%, making the product unmerchantable. Opened food products that are returned within the fourteen-day right to return period will therefore not be credited.
13.4 Refund Times and Procedures
After J-PORT has received the returned products and checked that the products meet all requirements, you will receive an e-mail that the returned products have been accepted. Whatever the form of payment you used, the refund procedure will start within 7 calendar days from when J-PORT was informed of your decision to exercise your right to return the purchased products and once J-PORT has checked that the return was carried out in compliance with the above conditions J-PORT will refund the full amount within seven calendar days. The refund will be made using the same payment method used to make the initial purchase.
13.5 Cost of Return
As advised by J-PORT, you will have to pay for the cost of return shipping and you will be responsible in case of loss or damage to the products during return transport. For your protection, J-PORT recommends that you use a courier service to return the goods and obtain a proof of delivery (POD).

15 .Governing Law
Dutch Law governs these Terms and Conditions of Sale.
16. Amendments and updates
The Terms and Conditions of Sale may be amended from time to time due to new laws and regulations or other reasons. The new Terms and Conditions of Sale shall be effective as of the date of publication on GREENTEAJAPAN.COM.

18. Valid Payment Methods
Payment for all goods can be done via credit card with VISA, MASTERCARD and MAESTRO. J-PORT also accept payment through PayPal, Apple Pay, and bank transfer via local payment options. Please check if the mentioned payment methods are available in your environment.
In case of a refund, the amount will be paid via the same payment method used as for the purchase.

19. Liability
19.1 As our products are often used in combination with (boiling) hot water, J-PORT would like to point out that you should be careful when using hot water to avoid injuries. Keep out of reach of children.
19.2 Subject to Section 7.1 above, other than as expressly provided in these terms and conditions with respect to specific products and except for the exclusive remedies set out at Section 5 above, any indemnities, warranties, terms and conditions (whether express or implied) are hereby excluded to the fullest extent permitted under applicable law.
19.3 Subject to 7.1 above, J-PORT will not be liable, in contract, tort (including, without limitation, negligence), pre-contract or other representations (other than fraudulent on negligent misrepresentations) or otherwise out of or in connection with the terms and conditions for any, economic losses (including without limitation loss of revenues, data, profits, contracts, business or anticipated savings); or loss of goodwill or reputation; or special or indirect losses suffered or incurred by that party arising out of or in connection with the provisions of any matter under these terms and conditions.
19.4 Notwithstanding the above, subject to Section 7.1 our aggregate liability (whether in contract, tort or otherwise) for loss or damage shall in any event be limited to a sum equal to the amount paid or payable by you for the product(s) in respect of one incident or series of incidents attributable to the same clause.
19.5 The products sold on this site are provided for private domestic and consumer use only. Accordingly, J-PORT does not accept liability for any indirect loss, consequential loss, loss of data, loss of income or profit, loss of damage to property and/or loss from claims of third parties arising out of the use of this site or for any products or services purchased from J-PORT.
19.6 Clause 7 does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, nor does it affect your contract cancellation rights.
20. Severability
20.1 If any of these conditions is or becomes invalid or unenforceable, then it will be modified to remove the invalidity or unenforceability and will then be binding. All other terms will remain in full force and effect.
20.2 A failure to exercise any right or remedy will not affect any right or remedy nor alter the obligations, which J-PORT has to each other.
21. Miscellaneous
21.1 These Terms supersede any and all other conditions, understandings, commitments, agreements or representations (except fraudulent misrepresentations) relating to your purchase, whether oral or in writing, and contain the entire agreement between J-PORT and you relating to your purchase.
21.2 No waiver by J-PORT of any breach of these terms and conditions shall be considered as a waiver of any subsequent breach of the same or any other position.
21.3 It is a criminal offence to use a false name or a known invalid credit card to order. Anyone caught willfully entering an erroneous or fictitious order will be reported to the relevant authorities.
21.4 To provide increased value to our customers, J-PORT may provide links to other websites or resources for you to access at your sole discretion. You acknowledge and agree that, as you have chosen to enter the linked website J-PORT is not responsible for the availability of such external websites or resources, and do not review or endorse and are not responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for (i) the privacy practices of such websites, (ii) the content of such websites, including (without limitation) any advertising, content, products, goods or other materials or services on or available from such websites or resources or (iii) the use to which others make of these websites or resources, nor for any damage, loss or offence caused or alleged to be caused by, or in connection with, the use of or reliance on any such advertising, content, products, goods or other materials or services available on such external websites or resources.
21.5 Regarding products sold outside of the European Union (EU), you are responsible for any local tax, charges, and custom duties. If you refuse to pay local taxes, charges and custom duties and the products are returned to J-PORT has the right to withhold from the refund both the initial delivery cost and the cost of repatriating the products, up to the value of the original delivery charge.
21.6 Where J-PORT takes payment for an order in Euro or other currency, J-PORT is not responsible for the exchange rate at which a bank charges its customer, or for any additional charges it makes. In addition, any refunds are made in the same currency that the order was placed and J-PORT is not responsible for the exchange rate at which a bank charges its customer, or for any additional charges it makes.
