Made in Tokoname
Tokoname has made teapots for centuries, from local clay that is left unglazed on the inside. That is why a kyusu from there pours the way it does, and why you never wash one with soap.
A natsume is the container matcha is kept in during a tea ceremony, and the shape you scoop from with a chashaku. Ours are lacquered BPA-free resin in four finishes, two plain and two with a motif. Wipe clean with a dry cloth and keep them out of water.
