A first flush, single origin, single cultivar (Okuyutaka) tea from the Forthees tea farmers in Sonogi, Nagasaki Prefecture, Kyushu. Tamaryokucha is a traditional tea from Kyushu. The leaves get less pressure in the rolling process, which gives them a bit curly appearance. OKU is full-bodied and has a refreshing aroma, rich umami and a long, sweet aftertaste.
The tea is also very nice as cold-brew (iced) green tea.
