A lightly steamed organic sencha from Shohokuen in Uji, from the first pluck of the year.
The leaf is a flat, silken, emerald green needle and the cup is smooth with a subtle aroma. Midori no kaori means green aroma, which is the whole idea.
Steamed at a low temperature, so the cup is clear rather than cloudy.
